Youth Leadership program + Direct Imagery

On the 27th & 28th November 2010. D'Utama Advanced Toastmasters Club organized a Youth Leadership program. Advance Dynamics Asia was invited to add in elements of Direct Imagery to this 2 day  program. It was a new twist.

Joyce did 3 sessions with the youth, in between their communication sessions. The first was on goal setting. Joyce got the youth to draw out the own goals on a sheet of paper. Then she used a visualization process to help the youth visualize the goals becoming reality in their minds. The concept here is for the youth to see the success and thus, they will be more motivated to achieve it.

Then we also had a relaxation session. There was a discussion on what styles the youth prefer to unwind with. Then using those ideas, Joyce led the youth through a relaxation session in a imagery process. It was interesting tto see how the youth participated and let go of all their stresses instantaneously.

Finally there was a session to help them with their memory. Joyce helped them identify their modalities and explained how it helps them identify how to improve their learning styles. With this tool, the youth would be able to structure their studies and excel in life.

It was a fruitful 2 days and by the looks of the beaming youths and positive feedback, this program was a success!

To organize a program like that for your group, give us a call and we can cater a program to your needs.

EFT Training in Asia

For the first time in Asia, Advance Dynamics Asia brought in Alison Munro to conduct her well sought after EFT Training, Level 1 & 2. Emotional Freedom Technnique, or EFT, is this fun, effective and safe therapy that helps one to work with issues such as emotions, phobias, physical symptoms etc. Alison, is one of the best EFT practitioners in the UK and we were priviledge to have her here in Asia to teach us on the whats and hows of EFT.

ADA organized the EFT training from the 23rd - 25th October 2010. It was held in Cititel Hotel Mid Valley. 16 people came from the workshop. We had participants from KL, up north from Penang and Kedah and even all the way from Oman!! This itself is a testimony of how great the course was as participants were willing to travel so many hours in order to learn from the best.

Through out the 3 days, we learnt a lot of theory about EFT and how to structure set up statements. But this workshop was interactive as well and we had lots of opportunities for practicals and demonstrations. Volunteers for the demonstrations were of course rewarded with the opportunity to experience the best. I'm sure they benefited from it all. As we were paired up for our final practical assessment, as beginners, we performed EFT and was amazed by the results of it. It reall is AMAZING!

A similar course was held in Singapore from the 16th - 18th October 2010.

The group is really looking forward to the next level of EFT training and we hope to see Alison in Asia again very soon. For those of you who would like to know more about the dates or details of the workshop, please drop us an email at advancedynamicsasia@gmail.com.

HELP Institute College of Technology (HICT)

The trip to Klang on the 15th October was more than worth it. I was invited to HELP Institute College of Technology (HICT) to speak to the students about hypnosis and hypnotherapy. One of their students, Mike Cheang, organized a public forum for 50 people at their college premises.

The session was a great one. The students (and some staff) were very attentive and asked many questions. A mgood sign that hypnosis is a very interesting topic. I also did a few little activities and brought them through a group relaxation session. The results were wonderful. All of them were relaxed and beaming after the session.

Puay Chai : Cyber Security

It might sound weird as to how hypnosis is linked to cyber security? But think of all the issues related to psychology? The mentality of childrens, the psychology of internet addiction, the criminal minds, subliminal messages in computer games, peer pressure ........ and the list is endless.

On the 14th of August, Joyce Hue, representing ADA was invited to be a panelist for a talk on Cyber Security to the parents & teachers of SRJK (C) Puay Chai. This event, was the brainchild of one concerned parent of the school. So he organized and grouped together experts from the media, communication, IT security, IT programming, IT project management as well as psychology for this voluntary event.

The school's auditorium, meant for 200 people was packed and you could see the look of concern on the parent's faces. This interactive forum style event lasted for 3 hours. There were so many questions from the floor targeted at us, ranging from online privacy to controling your child's online behavior.

UCSI: Intervarsity Psychology Convention

On 31st July 2010, Advance Dynamics Asia was invited to conduct a workshop for the students of UCSI on 'Understanding Hypnosis & its Benefits'. It was indeed a well conducted convention by the students of a very reputable univerversity for psychology.

Yes, the whole Intervarsity Psychology Convention was organized by a group of students. Kudos to them. About 200 students from various universities and colleges attended the event. Senior students presented the researches, some explained the findings of their thesis and guest speakers conducted talks and workshops.

Here, Joyce Hue from ADA conducted a 2 hour workshop on hypnosis. She talked about this new concept in Asia, the benefits of it, helped to break the conceptions of hypnosis and also demonstated its use to the students present. During the session, the students tested out a little activity to see the power of their mind. Then, her workshop ended with a 20 minute group relaxation session. The whole Q & A session was very interactive as well as all the students were so curious to know more.

Goal Setting at D'Utama Advanced Toastmasters Club

On July 8th, 2010, Advance Dynamics Asia was invited to give a talk about hypnosis to the members of D'Utama Toastmasters Club. One interesting agenda for this club is that they conduct 101 sessions. It is a session whereby the club exco invites professionals from various industries to share about their expertise.

It was a great honor to be invited. ADA presented a talk entitled 'Successful Goal Setting through hypnosis'. It was an interactive session, with over 40 audiences, learning about hypnosis, its many health and behavioral benefits, or how it can be used in helping one to achieve goals. The audiences were also treated to a little activity where they could experience the power of their mind.

Below is a photgraph of one of our consulotants, Joyce Hue, delivering the talk. ADA conducts talks and seminars to groups, organizations or to members of the  public as part of their effort to educate other about the benefits of hypnosis. If you'd like to attend one, or organize one, do contact us at.
